By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. The service

ReadMinutes provides a free reading time calculator. The tool is offered “as is” for personal and commercial use. The calculation is based on published words-per-minute averages and is an estimate only — actual reading time varies by individual, text complexity, and conditions.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or its network
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers connected to it
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access controls
• Scrape the Site at a rate that degrades performance for other users
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell substantial portions of the Site without our express written permission

Incidental personal scraping (a few requests) is fine. High-volume automated requests are not.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — code, design, copy, and original illustrations — is owned by Olive Green Holdings Limited or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may link to the Site and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not republish substantial copy without permission.

4. Affiliate links and advertising

Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase on the destination site, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. We only link to products we believe are useful to the audience. We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or content of third-party sites.

The Site also displays advertising through Google AdSense. We do not control which specific ads are shown and cannot endorse or verify the accuracy of advertiser claims.

The reading time calculator produces estimates based on population averages. It is not suitable for legal, medical, academic-accommodation, or any context where precise reading times are required.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Olive Green Holdings Limited and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Olive Green Holdings Limited harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
